Camping and the 4th

So, yeah......I've been missing for a while. Don't know when I will get back on track with this blogging thing but life is moving way to quickly. 

So we went camping a few weekends ago to Lake Hemet. It is really close by about 30 minutes away but it was nice. We were going to stay 2 nights. This was our first camping trip with the kids we didn't know what to expect. We didn't have any padding to sleep on our a air mattress so sleeping was pretty rough. Lincoln did not have a good night and it wasn't fun having him screaming in the middle of the night. I'm sure the fellow campers weren't to happy either.

My parents came up on our last night there and we had dinner and did some roasting of the marshmallows. Good times. Then we packed up and headed home. It was fun to get out but we need a few more necessities before we will go again with the kids. 

   

The 4th was pretty uneventful....just hung out and didn't even see the fireworks. We did some sparklers with Mack once Lincoln was asleep. 

Other than that not much going on. Josh and I both have not found jobs. But, I don't know if most of you know that I have been going back to school since January for a certificate in Graphic Design. Josh and I have decided to team up and start a business. I will do the graphics, logos, etc. and he will do the technical side of things for creating websites. I am in the process of getting a website for my services up and running right now. Should be up in a day or so. I will be back when it is up so you can check it out. Other than that we already have some clients lined up!! Which is sooooo exciting!!

Hipee Baby

I know.....I know.....I say I'm back and then you never hear from me again! Well, we are just settling in at our new home and we finally have internet and cable. I am so excited! Things are finally settling down and I should be able to check in more often!

I'm back

So, I think I am back. Things have settled down a little. We are finallly moved back to SoCal. Feels great to be home. We are staying with my parents for a couple more weeks. We kicked our renter out of our rental property in Perris. It is 1.78 acres and has an older mobile home on it. Our renter has been there for almost 6 years now. So, he will be out around the 15th of this month and then we will need to go in and do new carpet, paint, and any repair work. We are pretty excited to be living on a place we own again. We have big plans for the property. Right now it is definitly a diamond in the rough. I can't wait to post pictures. It is not pretty but I can't wait to get started....the before and after is going to be awesome!

So, I have decided to finish losing this extra weight. My BFF Emily, who I have known since preschool has kicked me in the but and made me believe I could run. So, that is what I am doing and I have dragged Josh along. We started Sunday and we have been doing it every night so far! It's going to be awesome. So Emily and I are keeping tabs on each other through our blogs, since she is in NorCal. We are going to see each other in 4 months when she comes down for a road trip. So, we have until then to lose our weight. My goal is 7 more pounds! Then I will be at 125.

Moving

Well, not really sure what to say. I know I have been missing around here for a while. There is just so much going on I don't know where to start.....

One thing I do know is that we are moving back to SoCal. We leave Thursday......it will take while for me to get settled and get back to blogging and all that. Our hopes is that our lives will be a little more normal once we can get settled in our new home. I will fill you in on the details later. But if I am gone a while you know why.....

Oh, our baby Lincoln turns 1 tomorrow!! Can't believe how fast that year went by....

I know it has been a long time..... but life has been moving quickly.

Another catch up

All of a sudden I feel like our lives have become extremely busy. I can't believe february is almost over!!

Let's see.....

I was finally settling in at work. Getting used to the schedule. As an assistant manager I am supposed to work about 20 hours a week on average. Well, the co-manager quit and now I am going to start having close to 40 hours again until they find a replacement. Not that more hours is a bad thing because that is what I really want is a full time job. I enjoy working there but I would really love to have some sort of consistency as far as the schedule goes. Maybe we will get there one day.

Josh went out of town last Thursday to the Scrapbook Expo in Costa Mesa. Green Tangerines released their Kit club! It's awesome, check it out! The expo ended Sunday and the whole team was supposed to be heading home. But, there was a shipment they had ordered waiting at the LA airport that had to go through customs. Josh and Paula had to stay behind and wait for the product to be released. So, it's now Thursday night and Josh is still not home. Well, they are on their way home. Who would have thought that customs would take that long?? So, I have been home alone with the kids for 4 days all by myself. I am completely worn out and ready for a much needed break. My mom actually flew up Friday morning and watched the kids the entire weekend while I was at work! If it wasn't for her I don't think I would have been able to do it! Thanks mom, we love you!

Talking about a much needed break, we are going on vacation!!! We leave Monday for Orlando! Totally excited to spend an entire week with my family! Can't wait to share pictures when we come back. It couldn't have come at a better time!

The house we are renting is in foreclosure......not sure how much time we have but we will be moving shortly. Very excited because we have not lived by ourselves as a family for 3 years now. So, I am excited to finally have our own space again! Hey, if you know of any homes for rent in the Roseville/Rocklin area for a good price hit me up!! HAHA!

Lastly, I have decided to get my real estate license. Josh has had his for, what 7 years now??, and he has been asking me to get mine forever! I actually took the classes at one point and past the class but I never ended up taking the state test. So, this time I am actually going to do it! We both love real estate and I think having my degree in Interior Design will actually give me a little edge! So, wish me luck. I will let you know when my state test is!

Project 365 - week 2

I finally got around to finishing my week 2 layout...... here it is!

This month already seems to be very busy. Josh and everyone is getting ready to launch the online store for Green Tangerines! Everyone is very excited. They will also be at the Costa Mesa scrapbook expo debuting the Green Tangerines Kit Club!! So many exciting things happening this month. I am so excited for GT! I only wish I could be more involved, but none the less.........Watch out, Big things baby, big things!!

Also, at the end of the month we are all going to Disneyworld!!!! So exciting!! My parents are coming too! It has been A LONG TIME since we have had a vaca. It will be nice to get away. Can't wait!!

Where have I been?

Don't worry I haven been keeping up with my picture a day BUT someone lost the cord to my camera. The one that plugs in to my computer so I can upload pictures, ahhh!!!! The cord is always in the same place and it is gone, so until I find it I won't be able to upload any pictures! Boooooooooo! :(

Getting ready for work. Josh is home from CHA, he was gone for 4 days. So  happy to have him home. Mackenzie is sick or at least her stomach hurts. Not sure if she ate something that didn't agree with her or if she has the flu, we will see!

Hehe, this is my van! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever drive a van. But I will admit that now that I have one, I LOVE it!! Thank you!! You know who you are!!

Mackenzie had a small performance at her Dance/Gymnastics class today. She was supposed to do a tap, ballet, and gymnastics routine. I say she was supposed to it because she stood there and watched the other kids do it, she was to shy! Until the teacher had her come stand over by her and then she started to loosen up. She then went in to the gym and did much better doing a balance bar routine! Good job Mack! They had a medal ceremony afterwards!

Today was a beautiful day in California. I would say almost 70 degrees. We went outside and played for a while!! This is my little walker, Lincoln, at 8 months old! sheesh!!
